Every training session results in small amounts of muscle damage, and recovery is a key aspect to reducing injuries associated with our training. Ensuring proper recovery, through physical techniques, dietary choices and timing, and home care recommendations can help to improve performance, as well as prevent overtraining and burnout.

At Absolute Athlete Care, we have several tools available to assess your risk of injury, and your susceptibility to overtraining. And we have a variety of approaches to help you continue your training safely and effectively, leading to optimal performance gains, with minimal interruptions to your program.

Detoxification

Being physically active can put you at increased exposure to toxins in the environment. Whether it's chlorine from the swimming pool, exhaust fumes from sharing the roads while running or cycling, or working out indoors with poor ventilation, we're not immune to the toxic burden of these chemicals. Combine that with the daily onslaught of chemicals in cleaning products, beauty supplies, furniture, foods, and other sources, your body could probably use a little help.
